Something to Celebrate!

To say 2020 has been and continues to be difficult may be the greatest understatement imaginable. As we all grapple with stress, uncertainty, and loss, joy can feel incongruous. And yet, that's precisely why it seems important to grab on to any cause for celebration, to commemorate our achievements or simply take a moment away from the incessant turmoil of the year.

Since I've found myself with something to celebrate, I wanted to share this moment of happiness with you. What's this big news?

I've finished the first draft of the Dragon Story

(Check out the draft book description, an excerpt, and much more on Patreon.)

Started back in February, before 2020 fully imploded and trapped us all in its depths, this story is quite different than my previous books, with fantasy creatures and pocket dimensions mixed in with the heartfelt emotions you can always expect from my writing. World-building to this extent is new for me, and many revisions await, but there is a story hidden in those ~85,000 words. It exists.

So I'm giving away three different prize packs celebrating my published romances! Check out the details and enter to win below. πŸ’•

  1. Just celebrated my daughter's 15th birthday! She had a meet this weekend too so it's been busy. She runs cross country and track n field. Along with celebrating her we were pleased that my oldest just started working in ER at another hospital shadowing a doctor. He works three 12hr days in ER here in time and three 12hr shifts in ER two hours away. His girlfriend of 9 1/2 years is doing her clinicals for EMT this week. My middle son got promoted to manager of restaurant he has been working at for last 2 1/2 yrs while still attending college fulltime. He is in his third semester studying computer engineering where he has made the President's List each semester.
Always something to celebrate with my kids!!!
Thank you for this fabulous chance.

  4. October is my birthday celebration month. On the 22nd I will be 68. Although I have medical issues, I'm able to mostly mobile and had been able to travel until Covid-19. Hubby and I want to see as much of this great nation until I'm unable to travel. So hoping 2021 is a better travel year. Celebrating that we were able to move to our dream destination and built the smaller home that we have always dreamed of. Celebrate each day for living in the Ozark Mountains with many daily critter visitors to entertain us and give us opportunity to enjoy our hobby of photograph while staying at home sitting on the front porch.

Entered and hoping to be the fortunate one selected making my birthday a very happy one for sure.
